TwoSix: Welcome to the team, Dominic! Tell us a little bit about yourself

Dominic: I grew up in Holt, MI and graduated from Holt High School and soon after got my Bachelor of Science from Michigan Technological University in audio production. My favorite past time is working on new music either for myself or for others that need help with their productions. I’m also an avid gamer. When I’m not organizing ad placements I’m a music producer/songwriter working with bands and other artists as well as licensing companies to create music that resonates with others.

TwoSix: What Past Experience do you have in digital marketing?

Dominic: I got certified as a digital marketing specialist from Michigan State University in late 2022. I was then hired as the digital media specialist at Güd Marketing and worked there for a year until early 2024. My primary role consisted of placing ads on the various social platforms as well as reporting on the performance of those campaigns and analyzing performance for optimization opportunities.

TwoSix: What is your favorite social media channel for personal use and for professional use?

Dominic: My favorite social media channel for personal use is YouTube because of the long-form content and just how much I can learn from watching different videos on various topics. My favorite for work is Facebook/Instagram just because of the targeting capabilities and various metrics they share on audience engagement.

TwoSix: TwoSix Digital works exclusively in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. What is the most magnificent place you’ve ever visited?

Dominic: New Orleans is one of the most magnificent places I’ve visited, but I also haven’t traveled very much so if I got to see more of Florida besides Disney world my answer would probably be Florida.

TwoSix: What is the best piece of digital marketing / social media marketing advice you’ve ever received?

Dominic: The best piece of digital marketing advice I have ever received is to put yourself in the shoes of the intended target audience rather than through your own lens so you’re better able to connect with them and understand better how they’re perceiving the content.
