We sat down with our newest team member Jordan Lemanski and asked him a few questions. Read on to learn more about him!
26: Welcome aboard, Jordan. Tell us a little bit about yourself!
Jordan: Thanks! Well, let’s see… I’m 27, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University. I have 2 Bachelors from there, one is in Communication and the other is in Digital Media. But that’s the boring generic conversation stuff… Let’s talk about my interests. My favorite thing to do in the summer is to go down to Detroit and explore and take photographs of the city. I find it really fascinating watching a city make a comeback, old abandoned buildings get new life breathed into them. It’s all just really cool to watch. Besides that, I’m becoming something of a ‘movie buff’…well, maybe ‘movie apprentice’ is a better term. I still have quite a long list, but I really like watching old classic movies. The last one I saw was “Some Like it Hot”. I totally have a bit of a nerdy side too. I’ve always been into Nintendo, DC Comics and Star Wars. (I can talk about those topics for hours.)
26: Because TwoSix Digital works exclusively in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry, what is the most magnificent place you have visited and why?
Jordan: Easy. San Fran-freaking-sisco. That is a city or really – the whole Bay area is just awesome. It has direct access to some of the best wine, beer, and really pretty much all food and drink, except pizza. The East Coast has pizza on lockdown and I don’t think that’s gonna change anytime soon. But I digress, SF has a really young “yuppie” population so a decent chunk of the city has catered to that, there is a great nightlife scene or if you need to get out of the city for a weekend there are a few really great national parks, or you can go out to the wine country. Plus all the technology companies are out that way, so it gets to be a testing area for a lot of the new tech products those companies put out every year. Really it just caters to the lifestyle that I personally would enjoy.

26: What is the best social media marketing or advertising advice you’ve ever received?
Jordan: So, when I first met Dave and was working here subcontracting, one of the assignments he gave me required me to revisit his old speeches and TwoSix strategies. In those speeches, I distinctly remember him saying that knowing your user base – how they respond and engage with content – is vital. It’s totally ok, to really only focus on one or two platforms and not worry about other platforms if that is where the user base is.
26: What are you looking forward to the most about joining the TwoSix Digital team?
Jordan: Getting to know the organization’s client base! It’s a great opportunity to meet people all across the country, and learn about what each area has to offer.
