As digital marketers, we regularly hear about the importance of having a consistent social media posting strategy in today’s day and age. 1.) Dedicate A Topic for Each Day
When planning your social media content calendar, the first step is to dedicate a topic to each day of the week. Don’t let the word ‘topic’ confuse you. As a best practice, we recommend posting a minimum of 5 times per week on each social channel. Consistency is key!
2.) Plan Content Out in Advance
Community managers rarely have downtime, making finding daily time to post on social media difficult. This is why we highly recommend scheduling your content out in advance. However, as a best practice, leave some room for creativity and spontaneity by not planning a month’s worth of content.
